I'd like to introduce you to the High Priestess. This card is rich with hidden symbolism. Her astrological symbol is the Moon. Today, however, instead of picking the symbols of this card apart, I will use it to represent the archetype it embodies - that of the keeper of the mysteries. This card represents the teacher who reveals and enlightens us with wisdom that we not only enjoy in the classroom, but take away with us to apply to our lives. The particular teacher I have in mind is Segomâros Widugeni. I send out my heartfelt thanks to him for our recent classes
regarding Continental Celtic Polytheism. His thorough presentation of the ancient, Iron Age Gauls was
enlightening in such a way that we not only learned who the ancient Gauls were, but how they perceived
their world. We learned about their society and their style of spiritual worship. I took away knowledge
and understanding from this instruction that brought me a sense of connection and belonging to roots I've
only recently discovered I possess. I also took away a style of worship that I can, if I so choose, apply
to my own style worship.
And so, true the archetype that the High Priestess embodies, mysteries
have been revealed. Segomaros, has, in effect, lighted our path home, like the Full Moon on a clear night.
I highly recommend this class to anyone who might be interested in ancient
European history and spirituality. Go to Facebook and check him out!
