This is the time of year when people think about celebrations, giving and receiving gifts. Some, if so inclined, also attend various churches, mosques or synagogues to praise their personal Gods or Goddesses. All is done with joyful hearts and can be very festive. Don't you agree?
In Tarot, this card can mean many things depending on the way it falls in a spread or according to what the individual card reader may intuit at the time. For example, say I want to attract more abundance into my life and this card falls. The people in the picture sure look like they could use some! Anyway, what if this card came up when I asked, "How can I attract more abundance into my life in the year to come?"
Perhaps I identify with those chilly looking people and I would intuit that I should go to my center of worship and pray more. I might think that if I did this God or even someone that I might be worshiping next to might understand my need and help me out. That would appropriate, no? Or maybe I feel warm and fed, enjoy a modicum of abundance already and want to either attract more of it or try to hang on to what I already enjoy. I might intuit from this image that I should share what I have with those in need. Share what I have?!? But I am asking for more... Yes, by letting some things go, that I no longer need (come on, many of have a sweater or a pair of pants that we never wear), I then make room for more abundance! I have created an empty space by giving something away that can now be filled up with something new or something more. After all, if your house is bursting at the seams with stuff, Abundance won't get the message that you need more, right?
So, meditate on this during this "Season of Giving" and above all else, remember that the only thing many people need more of in their lives is LOVE!
